Katie Flood
Katie Flood is a fourth year English and Communication Studies originally from Aurora, Ontario. A longtime volunteer with the Cord, Katie has been writing since first year, taking photos since second, and even remembers the days when the paper was known as the “Cord Weekly”. Along with her WLUSP experience, Katie has also contributed to Talentegg.ca, and the Globe and Mail’s 2011 University Report, but finds herself happiest writing about the quirky, entertaining, and occasionally inappropriate antics that make up student life. After graduation Katie plans to travel, supporting herself through writing, bartending and hopeless dreamer talk on a mission to escape Canadian winters. On warm days, Katie can be found adventuring to the gym, local bar, or watching hours upon hours of Criminal Minds with her roommates.
