Bree Mantha

My name is Bree Mantha. Or Bree Rody-Mantha. Or Bree Rody. It depends who you ask. I am entering my fourth year of English and Cultural Studies. I am fully aware of how pretentious my degree is.
There are very few words to describe how excited I am to be the Features Editor for The Cord in the 2011-2012 school year. I spent last year as The Cord's Lead Reporter. I love my crazy Cordie pals and love that I get to keep the students of Laurier informed on current issues. It is so rewarding to me that it overwhelms me.
My highly unrealistic and unattainable goals for the future are to work for The Globe and Mail and the CBC in the future, as well as to own my own dance studio.
Aside from writing and devoting my life to The Cord, my hobbies include dance, acrobatics, yoga, making music on various instruments, and guiding Laurier students home as part of Foot Patrol. My favourite things in life include the colour green, fuzzy animals, Arrested Development, Sega Genesis, graphic novels, unconventional stuffed animals, and mixing tea with hot chocolate (seriously, try it sometime).
If you're interested in following me around on the Internet (and really, who wouldn't be interested in that?) you can check me out at: Twitter and my blog
