I’m a fourth year English major at Laurier with, what I think, is a pretty diverse range of past-times and interests. I’m really into sports; I’ve been on hockey, wrestling, baseball and field hockey teams and I can also play the saxophone. I won’t say that I can play guitar well, but I do try. I have always wanted to travel and plan on doing so after graduation because as of now I have never been outside of North America. I did write for the world section of The Cord last year and really enjoyed it but it’s not the same as actually traveling, as you can imagine.
I have always enjoyed trying new things and taking on new challenges, though I have yet to add to my bucket list getting a tattoo. I would just change my mind five minutes after it was finished. I am a big supporter of the arts because I think they’re a crucial part of any education. This does not mean that I don’t value the sciences- I loved biology. I do not love horror movies; never have and never will. I don’t sleep for ages after seeing even the tamest of horror flicks. Finally, I am really looking forward to my next and final year at WLU as local/national editor.
